Carer Coordinator Vacancy

Salary: £11 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team as a Carer Coordinator.

This will initially be for an 18 month maternity cover period, with the option of moving to permanent at the end of this term.

If you are passionate about providing the best community care, thrive on organising careplans to an impeccable standard, take pride on building relationships with clients and carers then this is the role for you.

Typical Duties:

  • Coordinate, Risk Assess and Oversee a range of Care plans.
  • Shadow Carers to ensure work is completed to a high standard.
  • Medication and PPE Competency Checks.
  • Provide on going support for clients, through regular reviews.
  • Liaising with Other Healthcare Professionals
  • On Call duties
  • Liaise with Management and keep fully informed at all times.
  • Training new staff members.
  • Assist with the coordination of COVID19 Home testing kits & PPE.
  • Cover care work as and when needed.

Person Specification:

  • Experience within a similar role is required.
  • Qualified or Working towards NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care – minimum.
  • Ability to prioritise, especially under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills – including Microsoft office.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Caring nature
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours to meet company needs.
